How does teletherapy work?

All you have to do is schedule an appointment with your therapist at a time that works for your family, find a quiet and distraction-free space and set your child up with a computer. Depending on your child's functional level, you may be asked to provide support or feedback to the therapist.

Many find teletherapy more convenient than office-based sessions which require additional coordination and drive time. Remote sessions offer easily accessible speech therapy for busy families with children of all ages.

Some parents are surprised to see that their children are increasingly engaged and ready for therapy sessions. Since teletherapy sessions are most frequently delivered in a familiar setting like home, kids are more comfortable. This improves the overall treatment experience for children, parents, and providers alike.

What is In-Home speech therapy?

In-home speech therapy is provided in a patients residence rather than a clinic or medical facility.

Speech therapy in the home offers many advantages including targeting skills in a comfortable, familiar environment. Therapy in the home setting encourages involvement for the whole family. Both direct therapy and parent coaching will be completed each session.

Increased opportunities for targeting and generalizing new skills are naturally provided in the home. When your therapist is able to participate in your child's routines, they are better able to support family outcomes. Families report that they feel more involved in their child's therapy and the child feels empowered and confident in their skills.

Insurance
Private Pay
We are not in network with any insurance carriers and it is primarily a private pay service. We do offer a superbill in which a client may submit an itemized form or invoice of their therapy services to their insurance company for reimbursement according to their policy terms for out-of-network coverage.
